What is a heat pump?
An air source heat pump extracts heat from the outside air and uses it to heat your home and hot water. They work efficiently even in cold UK weather and can reduce your heating costs by up to 50% compared to traditional boilers.
How much can I save?
Savings depend on your current heating system and energy usage. Most customers save £1,000-£1,500 per year with heat pumps. Solar panels can save £2,000-£4,000 annually. Battery storage maximises these savings by allowing you to use your generated energy when you need it most.
Do I need planning permission for a heat pump?
Most heat pumps can be fitted under Permitted Development Rights, meaning you don’t need planning permission. The most common exception to this is if the heat pump had to be located adjacent to a highway, for example at the front of a property, in which case you would need to check with the local authority if planning permission was required.
What warranties are offered?
We offer comprehensive warranties on all installations. Heat pumps typically come with 5-10 year manufacturer warranties. Solar panels include 25-30 year performance warranties. Battery systems offer 10-15 year warranties. All work is covered by our professional installation guarantee.
